HKICAdj Construction Adjudicator Accreditation Training

HKICAdj is delivering an Adjudicators Accreditation Training Course to provide construction professionals with insights about contractual and statutory adjudication. This training course will be discussing the proposed Security of Payment Legislation (SOPL) in Hong Kong and also integrating with NEC3 and NEC4 ECC adjudication frameworks. This course will be delivered by experienced adjudicators and cross-border expert trainer.

Moreover, the course fee includes a top up course* for candidates successfully listed on the HKICAdj list of adjudicators to familiarize with the SOPL upon its enactment. *top up course will enable listed adjudicators to gain the knowledge and essentials of the Hong Kong’s Security of Payment Ordinance.

The course will be delivered on four consecutive days on 20 – 23 May 2019, from 9am to 5pm, including a decision writing examination.

Course Fee (Rate includes course materials, examination fee and refreshment costs):

Normal Rate: HK$17,000 per person including course materials, examination fee and refreshments (Lunch excluded)

Early Bird Rate: HK$15,000 before 31 January 2019

Course Materials: Powerpoint and handouts will be in English. The course will be conducted in either English or Cantonese depending on participants background.

Number of participants: Limited to 40!

Applicants should have at least 8 years of experience in the construction industry, with a degree or equivalent in built environment, law, arbitration, construction, adjudication or mediation, and a full member of one of the relevant professional institutes (HKIA, HKIE, HKIS, HKILA, ICE, RICS, CIOB or equivalent). Applications will be processed with due consideration on the applicants’ qualifications and experience. Applicants are required to submit a copy of their CV by email to secretary@hkicadj.org before enrollment. Successful applicants will be notified by email by 30 April 2019.
