The following clause should be included in contracts where the parties wish to have any construction disputes resolved by adjudication under the HKICAdj Simplified Adjudication Rules:

"Any dispute or difference arising under or in connection with this contract, or the subject matter of this contract, including any question about its existence, validity or termination, shall be referred to and decided by an adjudicator in accordance with the Hong Kong Institute of Construction Adjudicators Simplified Adjudication Rules."

Parties of an existing contract that has not incorporated the HKICAdj Model Adjudication Clause may agree to refer any dispute to adjudication under the HKICAdj Simplified Adjudication Rules by signing an Adjudication Agreement in the form here.
