ADMISSION OF HKICADJ ADJUDICATORS

Minimum Qualifying Criteria for Adjudicators

​

In addition to the minimum qualification requirements of membership, a person meets the minimum qualifying criteria to become HKICAdj adjudicator if:

​

(a) the person possesses a degree or diploma in architecture, building, building surveying, construction, construction project management, engineering, law, quantity surveying or such other qualifications as may be recognised by HKICAdj;

​

(b) the person has working experience of at least 10 years in administration, management, supervision of construction contracts in Hong Kong or in dispute resolution relating to construction contracts in Hong Kong; and

​

(c) the person has successfully completed the prequalification assessment and training course conducted by HKICAdj or other institutions as may be recognised by HKICAdj.

Admission Fee

​

HKICAdj will not collect any fee from any adjudicator on its panel and list except for the one-off fee and annual fee collected for admission to its panel and list of adjudicators and for providing continuing professional development training to adjudicators.

​

Nomination and Appointment Fee

​

HKICAdj will not collect any fee from any adjudicator on its panel and list in relation to nomination and appointment of adjudicator.
