A Milestone Year for Security of Payment in Hong Kong
On 9 July 2026, the Hong Kong Institute of Construction Adjudicators (HKICAdj) proudly hosted its 2026 Half-Day Conference at the South China International Arbitration Center (HK) (SCIAHK), under the theme "Navigating the First Year: Industry Reactions, Adaptation Strategies, and Emerging Best Practices."
With over 70 attendees from across the construction and dispute resolution community — including employers, contractors, consultants, legal practitioners, and adjudication professionals — the conference sparked lively discussion on how Hong Kong's security of payment regime is reshaping industry practice in its first year.
