Announcement of Dr. Christopher To’s appointment of Honorary President at HKICAdj

The Hong Kong Institute of Construction Adjudicators (The Institute) has appointed Doctor Christopher TO, to the position of Honorary President.


Doctor To is an independent mediator, adjudicator and arbitrator who is on the panels of various leading global alternative dispute resolution bodies. He has arbitrated and adjudicated a variety of international cases involving both ad-hoc and institutional arbitrations and adjudications, and has mediated many international and domestic cases to date. After joining the Bar, he has represented clients in a variety of arbitrations as counsel.

Doctor To has written a variety of articles and publications in the areas of arbitration, adjudication, and mediation. He was previously the Executive Director of the Construction Industry Council (2008 to 2016). Prior to that, he was Secretary-General of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (1998 to 2008). Doctor To holds adjunct professorships from a variety of academic institutions and is currently the Programme Director of the Masters in law in arbitration and dispute resolution at City University of Hong Kong.
