About The Event
Our speakers are:
Basil Georgiou is a former partner of Jackson McDonald, where he headed up the Projects, Infrastructure and Construction Law Team. He is past Chair and a Life Member of the Society of Construction Law of Australia. He assisted the SCL Australia and the Law Society of Western Australia in drafting their submissions on security of payment legislative reform.
Lam Wai Loon is an Advocate & Solicitor in Malaysia, a Chartered Arbitrator (CIArb, UK) and is a qualified adjudicator under the Malaysian Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act 2012 (“CIPA Act 2012”). Wai Loon is the immediate Past President of the Malaysian Society of Adjudicators, Past President of the Society Construction Law, Malaysia and Past Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Malaysia Branch.
